Overview:

The FortiWifi-30B offers full-featured, enterprise-class UTM inspection for the smallest remote offices, branch offices, and retail outlets. The FortiWifi-30B is ideal for large enterprises with hundreds or thousands of small, remote networks that need Wireless LAN convenience in addition to full UTM inspection against today's evolving threats. As the entry-level FortiWifi appliance, the FortiWifi-30B also serves the smallest of business or home networks that do not require the advanced configuration and management features offered in the FortiWifi-50B or FortiWifi-60B.

Taking advantage of the new FortiOS 4.0 operating system, the FWF-30B boasts data leakage prevention, identity-based policies, IPS enhancements, and application control. These features deliver unmatched protection against today's sophisticated Web 2.0 threats that evade detection by other applications.

Securing Remote Sites:

Large organizations endeavoring to provide secure access to remote teleworkers, retail outlets, and branch offices are facing an evolved dilemma: while granting access to these remote sites has become relatively easy, ensuring the remote sites are secure by remotely deploying numerous security devices and software is unfeasible. Security risks are compounded with teleworker network usage by other family members, who must be kept separate from workrelated access. Technical Specifications:
