The FortiGate-600C platform delivers the speed and comprehensive security your growing enterprise network needs. It integrates the purpose-built FortiASIC Network Processor to deliver security throughput at switching speeds. Another purpose-built processor, the FortiASIC Content Processor, provides additional acceleration for content inspection.

With 16 Gbps of firewall throughput and 2.5 Gbps of IPS throughput, the FortiGate- 600C meets the speed requirements of mid-sized organizations and large branch offices. The FortiGate-600C provides sixteen (16) Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) RJ-45 ports, giving you the freedom to create multiple security zones for various departments, users, access methods, and even devices, to enforce network security at accelerated speeds. The appliance also provides four (4) shared RJ-45/SFP ports to give you additional deployment flexibility, and two (2) bypass-protected GbE ports ensure your network stays up in the event of device failure. In addition, the FortiGate-600C features 64 GB of internal storage for WAN optimization, local reporting, or local content archiving.

Technical Specifications:

All performance values are "up to" and vary depending on system configuration. Antivirus performance is benchmarked using traffic containing 32 Kbyte HTTP objects. IPS performance measured using 44 Kbyte HTTP files (similar to NSS Labs test methodology)
